He’s come up through the ranks in Fauquier County
Bob Mosier has been a police professional for over 30 years. As a young cop, he moved quickly up the ranks from beat cop to Law Enforcement Executive and led Criminal Investigations, Patrol Operations, and Special Operations with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office. And that was just the beginning.
He's fought crime around the world
He was Station Commander in Bosnia as part of the International Police Task force. As Vice President/Director of Investigations of the human rights organization International Justice Misson (IJM), he spent a decade doing battle around the world against international organized crime and leading the fight against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation. He was Chief Advisor for counterterrorism operations for the Department of Defense and served as the Deputy Executive Police Advisor for Law Enforcement Training for the Department of State in Iraq.
And now, he’s rolling up his sleeves to serve Fauquier County again
Bob is bringing his impressive local and international Law Enforcement experience back to Fauquier County to serve its citizens as Sheriff.
